Zombie Army-The Review

by The Time Tunnel Gamer

Time is a funny and interesting thing. You receive time, but your actions with it matter. Sometimes, from the start, we know what needs to be done, but other times, it’s when the time has passed that we wish we had more of it. Every time that I step into and out of the time tunnel, I think about the time that I have spent doing what needs to be completed, as well as wish I had more time with the characters I interact with. Take, for example, the last adventure of being a drummer and being able to perform in front of people, which was a blast, and I wish I had more time for that.

As I wait for the next adventure, not all can be free of horrors, as I never know who I will become, what challenges I may face, and when or where I may end up. But as The Time Tunnel Gamer, I must do what is necessary and do what I do best at all costs. When the tunnel opened for me this time, I saw something that should not have been. Everything I thought I knew about them had some unknowns. I never thought I would see Germany like this.

As I walked around the grounds, the sounds of something that was not words, but grunts and growls, echoed in the air. Entering this body, I could sense that they knew what needed to be done. With everything still foggy as to why I arrived here and with these things, these zombies, I did what anyone who was wearing this outfit and with weapons would do; I shot at and tried to kill them as much as I could. That’s when I saw the vehicle and someone I thought I could help. But as I approached, I could tell whoever it was sitting on the ground with blood all over them was not something they signed up for.

My journey here isn’t just about the undead I need to take down; it’s also about the hidden treasures I discover along the way! Every chapter I dive into is brimming with collectibles just waiting for me to uncover them—think quirky dolls that put a smile on my face, chilling zombie hands that give me the creeps, those precious upgrade point bags, and vibrant paint cans that transform my weapons with fresh new skins. The excitement doesn’t stop there, though! As I navigate through this world, I encounter a series of exhilarating objectives that keep my adrenaline pumping. I’m not sure if my mission is to rack up a specific number of headshots on Snipers or aim to lay waste to three hundred zombies using a designated melee weapon; these challenges consume so much of my time.

Sometimes it felt like someone like me was about to enter to assist, but that feeling seemed to glitch as I had to go at it alone. This hasn’t dampened my spirits though! I can only imagine the joy and camaraderie waiting for me when I finally team up with someone. My mission is always an exhilarating experience—especially when I pull off those awesome X-ray kills! I have tried multiple times to join in co-op mode, but I often find myself flying solo when I play. This hasn’t dampened my spirits though! I can only imagine the feeling of fighting off these enemies with someone.

As I kept pressing on, it wasn’t until being stuck in a partially opened elevator where those things could still somehow get a hold of me. I did all I could to fight them off. But I didn’t get my wish for the Time Tunnel to appear until the elevator doors closed. I entered the tunnel without any hesitation. As I looked back, thinking about what else could be ahead of the body I encountered, I felt that they were in good hands and they would have the best chance of any of making it.

In a world where the undead roam and darkness presses in from every side, survival isn’t just about dodging death—it’s about choosing life. Not just the beating-heart kind, but the kind that radiates from within: the way we speak, the way we care, the way we carry ourselves when everything around us says we shouldn’t bother.

We are not defined by the chaos that surrounds us, but by the calm we cultivate within. Every act of kindness, every shared laugh, every moment of stillness in the storm is a quiet rebellion against despair. We may not be able to stop the world from falling apart, but we can choose how we walk through it—upright, compassionate, and unbroken.

Positivity isn’t pretending the darkness isn’t there. It’s lighting a candle anyway. It’s remembering that even in a world of zombies, the most powerful thing we can do is treat ourselves and each other with respect, as we are all human.

Enjoy the trailer. Until our next journey through the time tunnel, remember that you are appreciated, happy gaming, and remember to game through time.
